Autumn Remnants - Raven Rock State Park

In all of the rush to get out Christmas portraits and wedding images, I let these pictures sit unloved tucked away on my hard drives. I pulled them out on this cold day to warm things up a bit. These images are from last November when Simon, Chestnut and I went hiking at Raven Rock State Park for the first time. I was blown away by the terrain, the diversity, the water, and naturally by the beautiful colors. Enjoy the photographs, and if you really like any of them, check out my online Fine Art Store.

These are just beautiful! I shivered a bit when I saw them... the good kind of shiver. Makes me really miss fall. We should go on another hike soon. Perhaps this weekend? I really did enjoy the last one.

Thank you Nick! I'd love to hike again soon. This weekend Simon and I are walking the greenways in Pittsboro with Parks and Rec., that is 8AM. Then we are headed off to meet a bride in Winston-Salem and train for our duathlon on Sunday. I'll give you a call...
