Life's First Moments ~ Birth Photography

As a mother, I remember the feeling of those first moments holding my daughter just after she was born.  I treasure the photographs I have of the day my daughter was born and am thankful that they allow me to remember how wonderful this day was.  As I've taken photographs of other births in my family, I have been honored to be in the position to provide those cherished visual memories with my photographs.  This year, I would like to start offering Life's First Moments Birth Photography for local expecting parents.  I will be a sensitive and caring photographer, capturing the moments that can quickly fade from memory, the moments that you never want to forget.  Please send me an email or give me a call if you would like to learn more about having your baby's entrance to this world photographed.

The Hess Family ~ Durham, NC Portrait Session

As a gift to his friends, Nate and Stacey, who just had a new baby, my friend Doug purchased a gift certificate from me for a family portrait session.  We scheduled our portrait session for an afternoon in January that turned out to be warm and beautiful.  Here are a few of my favorite images from our session.

Family Love & A Lovely Video

I have been creating albums back to back with the holiday season rush and orders for the New Years. Today, when creating a book for the mother of the groom, I ran across these family photos. Weddings are a day to celebrate not only the marriage of two people, but they also celebrate the beautiful blending of two families. I am so happy that I have the opportunity to create images that these families will treasure for a long time.
