Sweet Southern Style ~ Leigh-Ann and Harrison's Wedding

With the cicadas humming in the trees, Lucy Clement and I photographed Leigh-Ann and Harrison's beautiful wedding at the Stonewall Manor in Rocky Mount, NC. I had a hard time narrowing down the pictures to go onto this blog post, because this wedding was so wonderful. The grand old house and its towering oak trees make the ideal spot for a summer event. I love how the bride was escorted by her father down the grand stairs of the house, which is also where you can see that she and Harrison saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire. As the sun shone through the trees, their vows were exchanged and they were happily married. After the ceremony, the party progressed to the back lawn where the tent was set up. You may remember baby Jackie and her mom Katie from a portrait session we did together last fall. The dancing and laughter went late into the night and ended with Harrison and Leigh-Ann leaving through a tunnel of sparklers. It was a lovely wedding and I am so grateful they asked me to attend!
