Melissa & Blake's Rehearsal Dinner ~ Washington Duke Inn, Durham, NC

A lovely dinner was arranged on the terrace by Marilyn, the mother of the groom, at the Washington Duke Inn for Melissa and Blake's rehearsal dinner.  As their families and guests gathered in the setting sun, with drinks, lawn games, toasts, and food, everyone enjoyed each others company as they relaxed on the eve of the wedding day.  Here are a few photos from the evening.

Melissa's Bridal Luncheon ~ The Carolina Inn

Melissa's mother, Susan, called me and asked me to come photograph Melissa's bridal luncheon as a surprise for her.  I loved all of the floral arrangements, the bird place holders ... all of the details were delightful.  This gathering for Melissa's bridal party was a perfect way to start the wedding weekend.

Jess&Dan's "Through the Looking Glass" Engagement Party

This may be the most creative and fun engagement party I have ever photographed.  Tami and Lyle, the parents of Jess, are famous throughout the land for their quirkiness and hospitality.  To celebrate their daughter's upcoming marriage to Dan and to welcome Dan's family to NC, they created an amazing party complete with teapots and costumes.  Jess was a perfect Alice and Dan was the white rabbit.  Jess's bridesmaids where all in attendance as were many interesting characters.  They partied and mingled until the sun set on a candle lit dinner.  Follow the white rabbit....

Julianne & Tyler's Engagement Session at ECU

Tyler was out celebrating his 22nd birthday when he was introduced to lovely Julianne in downtown Greenville where they were attending school at ECU.  They had me come back to where they met to photograph their engagement session.  We started on ECU's beautiful campus near the Cupola with two of their furry friends, and then in was out on the town for the final images.
