Our Yard ~ A Sleepy Summer Afternoon

Sometimes I need to take a break from all of the computer work that comes along with running a photography business. Yesterday cooled off after an afternoon shower, so I headed outside to tend the chickens and observe the garden.

Chatham County, NC is known for its vibrant art community. I was lucky to have had the chance to photograph Sarah Kuhn's plexiglas creations for her website. Here are three samples of her work, that shows her Constellation Series, her Personal Geography Series, and her Play Series. I love how she takes objects that would be trash and makes them into beautiful pieces of art. The Beach & The Babies

I am lucky enough to have made it to the beach twice this summer to vacation with my side of the family and my husband's side of the family. I have two little nephews, so you can imagine what the main subjects of my camera attention where... little Ben and little Boyd. Here are some of my favorites from the two trips.

Bekki and Shawn's Wedding ~ A Sneak Peak

Last Saturday Bekki and Shawn were married at St. Timothy's in Winston-Salem, NC with a reception following at the magnificent Graylyn. I just had to take a little peak at the photos from their beautiful wedding ... here are a few from the day. I'll post more of this sweet couple once I have a chance to look through everything!

Lovely Heather

Heather came to my home in Durham for her bridal portrait. We started the session inside and then moved to the nearby Duke Gardens for the second half. She is the perfect graceful and beautiful bride. Here are a few of my favorites from our session.
