Baby Finn!

This sweet little guy is the son of my friend's Nikki and Craig.  They came out to Duke Gardens for one of my Autumn mini-session to snuggle and play among the lovely changing leaves.  The sessions were timed perfect for marking Finn's sixth month on this planet.  Happy half-birthday little dude!

The Jones Family

I have been lucky enough to see these little children of Katie and Andrew grow from babies to sweet children as I photographed Jackie's year old session and McClain's newborn session.  They all came out to Duke Gardens for one of my Autumn mini-sessions this year and had a good time snuggling and running around together in the beautiful changing leaves.  How wonderful!

Lovely Little Clara

Sweet Clara is my little Emmie's best friend.  The love to play together on Saturday's when I'm working weddings and they both attend the same school where they learn to speak more Spanish than their parent's will ever understand.  I was so excited to photograph her again during on of my Autumn mini-sessions and Duke Gardens.  You may remember Clara's newborn session... she is just as beautiful and cute as she was as a tiny baby.  She is such a joy to be around with her kissable checks and red hair - I love this girl!

Joanna&Matthew ~ Engagement

My neighbors Joanna and Matthew met me at one of our many neighborhood gatherings here in downtown Durham.  These two are engaged to be married and decided to sign up for one of my Autumn mini-sessions in Duke Gardens to get some engagement portraits taken.  The location was perfect as their mid-summer wedding next year will be in these same gardens.  These two are so sweet.  I loved how both of them have an engagement ring and how the rings reflect their love of nature.

Dashiell is One!

You may remember this little guy from his newborn session that I photographed last winter.  Baby Dashiell has now turned one, and he and his family joined me a Duke Gardens for one of my Autumn mini-sessions.  His parents couldn't be sweeter and more in love with their little boy.  What a little heartbreaker he is!

Ella & Nora's Family

My neighbors, Emily and Paul, live in one of the beautiful old houses in my neighborhood which they are gradually renovating to create a lovely home for their two girls, Ella and Nora.  Not only is Emily working on her home and raising these two girls, but she has started the project beloved by local moms and dads called the Stay&Play Snack Cafe.  Naturally, I was super excited to have the chance to photograph this cute family during my Autumn Mini-Sessions at Duke Gardens.  Ella came out ready for the camera ... her little sister Nora wasn't so sure ...

Little Henry

I photographed John and Elizabeth's beautiful wedding down in Siler City with my friend Joey back in 2008.  It is always wonderful to have the opportunity to catch up with a couple after they have been married for a few years, and especially after the two of them add a little one to their lives.  I was so happy to get to photograph little Henry and his parents during my Autumn mini-sessions at Duke Gardens.  He was such a sweet boy and I had fun catching up with my pals from Chatham County.
